“White Hill Mansion” Travel The Dead

When we go into a location we use historical evidence to find out what people from the past left behind.  Imagine going into a place not knowing the history, or even the name of the location until you literally drive up to it.  This was the case when Katrina called me up in October of 2020.  Without revealing the location, she told me that there’s a particular place, not super well known where she wanted to take me.  During a past visit, she had a pretty memorable experience.  This time, she wanted to go back and take little ol’ Taddy Bear.

Since everything in this field is speculation, constant experimentation is a must.  We came up with the idea of having me not know the history or the location, which was unusual for me.  During our time in PRS we were basically the client’s historian since we had such extensive interview processes before taking on any case.  How would not knowing anything affect my investigation? Would my experiences match up with what others have experienced?  Would my intuition lead me to the hot spots?  I must say that it’s nice to have no preconceived thoughts or insight into a location, on the other hand, details concerning the history can be beneficial in trying to get a response.  If you know that a location has the spirit of a woman in a wedding dress that roams the hallway, then that’s what everyone seems to put their focus on during their time there.  In fact sometimes so much they manifest it themselves.  Your head can go in a million different directions during an investigation, especially when you know a great detail about the history.  When going into a location unaware of its past, your mind is not flooded with facts from other people’s experiences.  It’s fresh to you and you have no expectations.

Love what you’ve done with the place….

I’m a firm believer that if enough people go to a haunted location with a preconceived idea of who/what they are going to encounter- the energy from believing in that can build up and develop itself.  I’ve heard legends and stories get passed down around a location, then during a historical deep dive, you find no records or deaths of those people/instances.  Keep in mind the time period because there are a lot of undocumented occurrences and lost history but you know what I’m saying. We could be giving the phenomena energy, manifesting what people are expecting.

2nd floor-left room where I may have subconsciously picked up on Mary Fields frustration and anger?

During my walk through when camera operator extraordinaire Kat was following me, we immediately heard sounds within the first 5 minutes.  As I was exploring the 2nd floor my walkie started to glitch, it did so again in the attic.  The batteries were fresh, and the other walkie that Katrina had wasn’t turned on at that time.  My cellphone wasn’t interfering because it was off. We couldn’t explain why that kept happening to me, but it increased throughout the night.  Of course, there’s the theory that something could have been using that walkie to communicate, but we’ll never know if that was the case. Michelle also picked up on equipment problems before they even began.  The glitches increased later the more I attempted communication, especially in the basement. What I should have done was switched out my walkie with another but I just wanted to focus on my time finally being able to roam the mansion.

Nothing to see here

MY SOLO

Upon stepping upstairs on the 2nd floor I was immediately drawn to the room on the far right and the room on the far left.  I don’t know why or how to properly explain it, but you can feel it.  It’s become so natural and I feel like my intuition was on point.  On my actual solo, where I was completely alone in the mansion, I placed a light grid in the hallway and hung out in the far right room with the REM pod doing a little EVP session.  I was ultimately drawn to the big room on the left.  I spent quite some time in that and I began to feel extremely frustrated and angry for no reason, which has never happened to me before. I had a bad feeling out of nowhere and I didn’t know why. Months later upon watching the edits and hearing bits and pieces revealed about the former residents, I come to learn that the apparition of a woman was often seen in the mansion. Two possible thoughts to who that woman was-Mary Fields-a widow, who had lost her child. Was I picking up on that spirit’s frustration? Or a woman prostitute that was rumored to be murdered when it was a bordello? Wish we could have done a bigger deep dive into the history.

I was using clues like ok the rooms with more chairs are obviously active ones, but all of the rooms had chairs, so I wasn’t misled in that way.  I did know that there were kids involved because one room was filled with toys as if it was a playroom.

The most significant thing that happened to me on my solo was when I was in the basement. This is when my walkie was constantly glitching so I started to ask whatever may have been there to use the walkie to communicate with me. The glitches continued and I even hear distinct footsteps up above me, either footsteps or the sound of furniture moving. It was hard to tell. Upon going up there of course there was nothing.

By the time I reconvened with the 2 Kat’s we all ended up in the back attic.  I avoided going in there during my solo.  I didn’t want to haha. I sensed something wasn’t right and this turned out to be where Katrina had her past experience. Also the attic window I pointed out one we pulled up to the mansion. I impressed myself by hitting the hot spots. Throughout the night we heard French through the Geobox, which ended up relating to the original family-the Fields. I clearly heard it say Heather and several other things that seemed odd.

CRAYON MOVING

The best part of the evening ladies and gentlemen! When I did my first walk-through with Kat I noticed a blue crayon lying on the floor in this back attic room. Right as I ask “what’s your name” you can hear a faint vibration as if something is shaking or rolling. It was very clear and we all paused and said what’s that noise?! Upon investigating we saw the blue crayon on the floor and I proceeded to roll it which replicated the exact sound we had heard. The floor had a bumpy texture. There was nothing else that could have caused and none of us moved or were close to it enough to cause it to roll. We came to the conclusion that something caused this crayon to roll across the floor. Perhaps a kid? Who knows but it was an exciting thing to have happen. I really wish there was a camera on it to catch it.
